Staying Connected: Internet Access Tips For Traveling

Having the freedom to travel is one of the main reasons that many people choose to become a freelancer or choose to outsource their businesses through GetACoder. However once you have a full pipeline of work going and you start to travel staying connected online can pose some issues.

Working from home with your hard wired Internet connection is one thing, but traveling overseas, dealing with flight delays and relying on hotels for WIFI can quickly turn into a nightmare if you aren’t prepared. Of course you should always hope for the best, but you also need to be prepared for the worst. What if you get stuck in an airport for 2 days because your flight was cancelled or the hotel you booked doesn’t have Internet service?

This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t travel by any means though. Of course you should, freedom is what outsourcing is all about. However it is a lot better if you have a plan.
